Jayco Terrain 19Y Accessories: A Wall by Wall Storage Guide, Entegra Launch Too

In short: the best Jayco Terrain storage upgrades use the flat walls the 19Y floorplan already gives you. There are four of them: the kitchen wall behind the sink, the cabinet zone above the prep surface, the side wall by the slider door, and the slider-door wall behind the fold-down outdoor table. Acorn Stash makes one powder-coated steel magnetic board sized for each spot. The Entegra Launch 19Y uses the same floorplan, so everything below applies to both vans.
Why the 19Y needs wall storage, not more bins
The 19Y galley is compact. Counter space disappears once a soap pump, a dish brush, paper towels, and a few spice jars move in, and overhead bins do not help with the things you grab ten times a day.
The other problem is motion. Anything that sits loose on the counter shifts on the first rough road. Jayco Terrain owner Frederick T put it simply after adding our Kitchen Magnetic Board: it "gave a graceful solution to the problem of the flying soap pump!"
Van walls are laminate, wood, or aluminum, so magnetic accessories have nothing to grab. A steel board gives them a surface, and every 19Y board ships with pre-cut, heat-resistant double-sided mounting tape already on the back. No drilling, no screws.
The four 19Y walls, mapped
| Wall zone | Board | Size | Price | What it usually holds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kitchen wall beside the sink | Kitchen Magnetic Board | 18 in x 24 in (457 x 610 mm) | $175 | Shelves, spice jars, utensil caddy, soap, brush |
| Cabinet zone above the prep surface | Upper Kitchen Magnetic Board | 16 in L x 8 in W (406 x 203 mm) | $95 | Spice tins, hanging paper towel roll |
| Side wall by the slider door | Entrance Magnetic Board | 10 in x 16 in (254 x 406 mm) | $95 | Keys, sunglasses, hooks, small daily gear |
| Slider-door wall behind the outdoor table | Outside Table Board | 20 in x 20 in (508 x 508 mm) | $215 | Spice shelf, fruit shelf, water bottle, towel |

1. The kitchen wall behind the sink
This is the biggest board at 18 by 24 inches, and the one that clears the most counter space. In our own photos it carries two magnetic storage bins, a tall slotted utensil caddy, a magnetic peg, and a row of round spice tins tucked under the upper cabinet. Frederick T set his up with a wide shelf across the top, a wide slotted basket on the left, and a tall basket on the right, working around a bamboo sink cover and an under-cabinet speaker.

2. The upper kitchen cabinet zone
At 16 by 8 inches, the Upper Kitchen Board sits in the cabinet zone above the prep surface. It is the natural home for a suspended magnetic paper towel holder and a few spice tins, freeing the main board for bigger bins. In our install it shares that space with the factory LED strip and the 110V and USB outlet, so you keep both.
3. The entry wall by the slider door
The 10 by 16 inch Entrance Board has a contoured upper corner that follows the window pillar, so it sits flush against that side wall instead of fighting it. Ours carries a five-hook bottom rail, a slotted vertical box, and two chrome magnetic hooks.
4. The slider-door wall behind the outdoor table
Open the slider and the 19Y fold-down exterior table becomes a second kitchen. The 20 by 20 inch Outside Table Board mounts on the wall right behind it, so a spice shelf, a fruit shelf, a water bottle holder, and a towel hook are within reach while you cook outside.
Picking Jayco Terrain storage upgrades without overbuying
You do not need all four boards on day one. Here is how the bundles work out against buying boards one at a time:
- Kitchen board only ($175): the single biggest upgrade if counter clutter is the main complaint.
- Kitchen Duo ($249, save $21): Kitchen plus either the Upper Kitchen or the Entrance board. Pick Upper Kitchen if you cook a lot, Entrance if you keep losing keys.
- The Full Stash Set ($325, save $40): all three interior boards.
- Inside + Outside Set ($499, save $81): all three interior boards plus the Outside Table Board.
Orders over $200 ship free in the continental US, so the Kitchen Duo and every larger set qualify. Boards ship from California in 3 to 5 business days, and undamaged boards can be returned within 30 days.
Before you stick anything to the wall
- Test-fit first for clearance under the upper cabinet, around the faucet, and near the window pillar.
- Clean off cooking oil and dust so the tape bonds to bare laminate.
- Press firmly for 30 seconds after peeling the backing. Each board takes 5 to 10 minutes.
- Plan your accessories last. Magnetic shelves, hooks, and holders are sold separately, and our support page lists the standard magnetic kitchen accessories we use in our own van.
You can see more real 19Y installs in our gallery, or browse every board on the shop page. If you drive a Winnebago Revel instead, our guide to Winnebago Revel kitchen storage covers that lineup.
FAQ
Do boards made for the Entegra Launch 19Y fit the Jayco Terrain 19Y?
Yes. The Entegra Launch 19Y and Jayco Terrain 19Y share the same 19Y floorplan and mount on the same walls, so every board in the 19Y lineup fits both vans.
Which Jayco Terrain storage upgrade should I start with?
Most owners start with the 18 by 24 inch Kitchen Magnetic Board ($175) behind the sink, because that is where soap, brushes, and spices pile up. Add the Upper Kitchen and Entrance boards later, or buy The Full Stash Set ($325) to get all three interior boards at once.
Where does the Outside Table Board mount on a Launch or Terrain 19Y?
The 20 by 20 inch Outside Table Board ($215) mounts on the slider-door wall behind the exterior fold-down table, so it faces you when the door is open and you are cooking or prepping outside.
What colors do the Jayco Terrain and Entegra Launch boards come in?
The 19Y boards are powder-coated steel in two colors, Slate and Pebble. The Winnebago Revel boards are a separate lineup in Black.
